Before the Credit Agricole rug was pulled from under the team,
Thor Hushovd rode the Look 585, and when he needed to put the hammer down what he had in his hand was the Pro Vibe 7S bar. As one of the few professional road racers anywhere near my weight, it seemed adequate recommendation.

The bars are distinguished by being fat all the way to the first corner, instead of quickly dropping from the stem clamp size down to the normal diameter like other bars. The matching stem is also built for stiffness, with a deeper section than common alternatives, making it one of the few 3D forged stems which stands out from the generic Taiwanese crowd. Like everything else, it is still Taiwanese manufactured, but at least Pro took the trouble to do their own design.
